Step 1: Hardware Assembly#

To have a working autonomous mobile robot, connect the following:

  • The wheels, the motors, the motor controller

  • The chassis to a power source

  • The wheels to the motor controller and the motors

  • The motors and the motor controller to a power source

  • The Intel® compute system to the chassis

  • The Intel® compute system to a power source

  • The Intel® RealSense™ camera to the chassis

  • The Intel® RealSense™ camera USB to the Intel® compute system

  • The motor controller to the Intel® compute system
